Matteo Ambroggio

Matteo joined Ambienta in 2026 as Partner in the Ambienta Sustainable Assets strategy based in Milano.

Prior to joining Ambienta, Matteo worked for over 17 years with several infrastructure funds, initially as a Partner at F2i SGR, then at Iter Capital Partners as Chief Investment Officer and lastly served as CEO at Finint Infrastrutture SGR.

Prior to that, he worked in investment banking, both in London (Morgan Stanley) and Italy (Mediobanca and UniCredit).

Matteo is a graduate of EAP-ESCP (France), with a master’s degree in management, and graduated in Economics and Business Administration from the University of Turin.

He is a native Italian speaker, fluent in English and French.
